Managed Services
The term Managed Services has been widely used to designate anything from help desk support to consulting services. Its true meaning however relates to a solution which allows your company to focus its resources on your core business. Based on a collaborative effort, CBCI Telecom’s Managed Services ensures optimum management and maintenance of your Visual Communications Network so you can focus your resources and efforts on revenue-generating activities.
CBCI Telecom considers your technology and business needs and carefully evaluates the impact of a solution on your PEOPLE, PROCESSES and TECHNOLOGY. CBCI’s Managed Services solution is flexible - meaning it can supplement your current staff and responsibilities or provide end-to-end operations management.

CBCI proposes three different approaches to Managed Services. Depending on your internal resources, current infrastructure, and strategy for your Visual Communications Network going forward. As either a Dedicated Managed Services Provider (DMSP); Semi-Dedicated Managed Services Provider (SDMSP); or Remote Managed Services Provider (RMSP); CBCI will provide the expertise to turn your Visual Communications Network into a successful and productive asset.
Dedicated Managed Services (DMS)
The DMS is an onsite customized Managed Services Offering. A CBCI onsite Live Video Representative will be fully dedicated to your company’s video needs. Prior to launching, CBCI will conduct a survey, review your internal processes, and identify any required action items to enhance the quality of service. Members of CBCI’s technical staff would reside in your offices and work closely with your technical team to facilitate the optimal usage of your video systems and network. Our responsibilities will include… welcoming guests on special events; placing calls; setting up room equipment; and bridging to other sites. CBCI’s team members could also be one of your internal resources. A video unit will be installed at the Video Representative’s desk to assist far-end sites during daily video sessions. This service is evaluated in collaboration with your company, on a monthly basis to improve user readiness.
Semi Dedicated Managed Services (SDMS)
The SDMS is an offsite customized Managed Services Offering. The Video Representative would reside in CBCI Telecom’s offices, accessing your company’s systems through a Video Live connection. This connection (Internet, MPLS or Gatekeeper with Border Controller to name a few) will be your company’s responsibility. This connection would enable CBCI to connect Live to each one of your video sites. The objective remains in helping you in every way to facilitate optimal usage of your video systems and network. Prior to launching, CBCI will conduct surveys and review your internal processes in order to identify any action items and enhance the quality of service. A customized detail call setup would be in place to enhance user appreciation of your Video Systems/Network. This service includes access to CBCI’s entire portfolio of services.
Remote Managed Services (RMS)
The RMS is an offsite standard Managed Services Offering. The Video Representative would reside in CBCI Telecom’s offices, accessing your company’s systems through a VPN connection. This VPN connection is your company’s responsibility and enables CBCI to connect to each one of your video sites through the Tandberg TMS. The objective remains assisting you in every way to facilitate optimal usage of your video systems and network. Prior to launch, CBCI will conduct a survey, review your internal processes, and identify any necessary action items to enhance the quality of service. A customized detailed call setup would be in place to enhance user appreciation of your Video Systems/Network. This service includes access to CBCI’s entire
