CBCI can maximize your productivity and minimize your costs with Managed Services. Whether you are a new to videoconferencing or a seasoned veteran, there are still many ways we can enhance your videoconferencing experience.

What are managed services?
An umbrella of infrastructure services which customers can use without having to purchase the equipment. An organization or corporation can rent the services from CBCI Telecom as we offer a vast array of tailored services to increase productivity without the associated costs of purchasing the equipment.

Which services does CBCI Telecom offer?
The following is a list of the most commonly used services:

Gateway Service: A customer with an IP connection would like to dial an ISDN connection. With an IP system, there is no way to dial into the ISDN world, so CBCI telecom offers a Gateway service; this allows users to connect multi-point calls end points.

Technical Support: we offer remote technical support, which we call “end point fleet remote management”.

Technical Employee: CBCI Telecom offers organizations the chance to hire a trained technical staff from CBCI to become your personal technician for all your videoconferencing needs.

Bookings: CBCI can look after all your videoconference booking needs on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis. Simply inform us of the systems needed and the time and date. We can also monitor, manage, trouble shoot and customize the equipment to suit your needs.

Stream/Record: CBCI can also stream or record your video conference call. It can be streamed online or saved and watched at a later date for those who are not participating in the call or are unable to attend at the time of the call.

Quality Network: We offer a quality network. Internet is like a highway, it’s a first come, first served basis and at peak points, the highway can become congested with traffic. With our quality network subscription, it is like having a private lane where you aren’t affected by traffic. Your videoconference can now be more powerful without delays.

Network Monitoring: We can offer a network monitoring system, you the customer can connect to our infrastructure and we can troubleshoot any problem and be proactive about preventing them.

Large Utility Company maximizes productivity and minimizes costs while using videoconferencing.

A large utility company with 26 different facilities across Ontario was looking for a better way to conduct a training session to thousands of employees. In previous years, the trainer had to travel to various locations throughout Ontario, from Ottawa to London, Toronto to Thunder Bay, and many towns in between.


Challenge:
The organization needed to link employees across Ontario in order to improve communication, collaboration and information flow. In addition, the company was looking to reduce travel time and expenses and optimize resource allocation.

Solution:
CBCI Telecom implemented 4 new videoconference systems which were shipped to different hotels over a period of seven weeks and managed service which included fire wall traversal, IP gateway, PRI gateway, and bridging service.

The solution had to accommodate 30 to 150 people at each location and other regional offices. Using CBCI’s Managed service, the remote locations connected to CBCI’s bridge over the public internet and the regional offices connected through their gateway via a PRI line.

Result:
  • Highly effective way to deliver the training sessions to many locations at the same time. More information was comprehended and shared
  • Greater efficiency, up to 6 locations were connected for each session and had the ability to participate in several project teams at the same time
  • Less traveling for the trainer and employees and a significant reduction in travel expenses
  • Lower costs and a fraction of the time to complete the training session to all employees
  • Reduced CO2-emissions. Environmental and safer option
