What's NEW at Bell?

Apollo Mail Decommissioning

Bell is decommissioning Apollo Mail for all new activations on Bell mobile phones as other email solutions are currently available, providing more benefits and greater value to Bell clients.

Existing Apollo Mail users can continue using Apollo Mail until they upgrade to a new hardware. At that point, they will be offered one of the alternate email solutions currently in-market, and which is available for their new hardware.

The table below outlines the email solutions currently available:

BlackBerry® Tips and Tricks:
General Typing and Text Entry

  • To capitalize a letter, hold the letter key until the capitalized letter appears.
  • At the end of a sentence, press the Space key twice. This automatically inserts a period and will capitalize the next letter.
  • To turn on Cap Lock press "Alt + "right shift key"…to turn it off, simply press "right shift key" again.
  • To turn on Number Lock press "Alt + "left shift key"…to turn it off, simply press "left shift key" again.
  • To move the cursor, press and hold the "Alt" key and scroll the trackball.
  • To cut or copy text, first press and hold the "Shift" key and then use the trackball to highlight text. Press the menu key and either select "Cut" or "Copy" and then go to the desired location and place cursor before pressing menu and selecting "paste".
  • To type the "alternate" character shown on a key, press the "Alt" key followed by that character key.
  • To type an accented or special character, hold down the letter key and scroll the trackball to view and select the possible entries available from that key When entyering an email address in an email field, press the space bar to enter the "@" symbol and/or periods.
