How to diagnose a material problem
on your Blackberry?

You possess a BlackBerry® and believe that there might be a material problem with the device. Did you know that there is a quick and easy way to evaluate the condition of your BlackBerry? An application exists on your device which permits you to test its principal components.

In just a few minutes, you will be able to evaluate if your device has a problem with its track ball, keyboard, speakers, screen or even the Bluetooth module.

To access this diagnostic tool just follow these easy steps:

    1. Click on Options
    2. In the menu choose Status
    3. Type in TEST on your keyboard
    (the whole word must be typed before anything happens)
    4. Press on the menu key at the left of your track ball and select Start
    5. Finally, choose the functions that you want to test and press ok
The diagnostic will only take a few minutes, confirming if you do have a material problem on your device.

This application only works on the Blackberry® Curve™ 8330 and BlackBerry® 8830 World Edition Smartphones.
